First Daddy Project
Our crib came on Friday! Ryan put it together that very night - we are a little excited...can you tell?! For now it sits in the loft until we are done painting (we have yet to start). I forgot to take a picture of the crib completed - tonight I will. I hope the dresser comes soon!

Baby McKeever 22 Update
Her length is approximately 7.6
Her senses are developing daily. She is learning about her body and surroundings through touch. She now shows an extremely rapid brain growth (which lasts until five years after birth).
From here out the organ systems in her body are becoming specialized for their particular functions. Updates are going to be less informative as the parts are all there - just working to get stronger now.

Baby Room Ideas
Here are my 2 ideas for the baby's room. --thanks to Jim :) I like the circle theme - but they would be painted different colors, also different than the color of the wall. But I really like the square look (of course diff colors though and not a painted ceiling). Our crib and dresser should be here this week, therefore, I need to get moving on the room!

Baby McKeever Update at 21 Weeks
She is 7.2 inches and she weighs approximately 10.5 ounces. (As of Thursday she was 12oz - she's a big girl)
She is about the size of a large bananaWeight gain so far will be around 10 to 15 pounds (On track!)
I need 500 more calories a day to support my charged up metabolism
Taste buds are being formed on her tongue this week (...taco's?)
The fetal digestive system is functioning and her can now swallow
--Some women crave cigarette ashes, charcoal, beer and other non-food items during this time. (Just the crazy ones!!)

Pictures
I have 4D Pictures from the Ultrasound I can't wait to share! I just need to find a scanner first! You can pretty much see the face and all of the legs. The 3D pictures were not working so I got 4D - which they usually charge for those! I will find a scanner this weekend though. I can send them if you have access to get pictures on your cell phone though.

BIG DAY!!
Today is a very special day for us....Ryan and I are heading to the doctors to finally see our little baby (via ultrasound)! I can't wait! I don't have a scanner but I'll find one and hopefully scan the pictures in tonight to post tomorrow. I have to drink 32oz of water within the hour before my appointment and HOLD it! It's going to be hard!!! I like to pee every 3 minutes!

Half Way!
It's hard to believe that i'm already 20 weeks - which is half way to meeting baby McKeever! We are even MORE excited now! Thursday is our first ultrasound!! I can't wait to see what the baby will look like!! Hopefully he/she gets Ryan's motor skills!!

I started on the babys room - just getting it ready to paint. I gave the chairrail a fresh coat of white paint but way more work is needed. Now that we can have the windows open soon I will be able to move along on the rest of the room.

Saturday Night
19 Week Baby McKeever Update
Length is 5.2 to 6 inches Approximately 7 ounces the baby weighsThe baby's brain is one of the first organs to appear. The oversized head shows the brain's importance in development. Because the nerves that connect the muscles to the brain have grown into place, baby's movements are consciously directed. Baby's ears stand out from the sides of the head and the buds for the baby's permanent teeth appear. Baby's arms and legs have reached their relative proportions and his feet are approximately one inch long.
(Most women have gained up to 14 pounds now and only 7 ounces of that is the baby! --I will find out next week where I am at)

Baby's Room
I finally found a crib and dresser I love - only to find the crib on back order. annoying! I want to order the crib once it become available though. It is crazy to think that everything should be ready to go BY 35 weeks...that is only 17 weeks away. I have sooo many clothes already but I need to turn my "salon" into a nursery.

Kristy Turned 30!
So, without bloggin I never have my camera anymore but my blog is fixed so I should start taking more pictures and updating this blog so you have something to read at work ;) We went out for Kristy's birthday 2 weeks ago but I didn't have my camera. Here are only 2 pictures from that night that I got from Kristys facebook.
What is baby Mckeever doing now....
Baby McKeever is 5 to 5.5 inches long
Baby McKeever becomes more sensitive to the outside world and shows presence through powerful kicks and prods.
The bones through which sound is passed to the inner ear have hardened and the parts of the brain that receives and processes nerve signals from the ears are developing. This means that Baby McKeever can hear now.
Baby McKeever will get used to familiar sounds, such as your heart beating, familiar voices, blood rushing through the umbilical cord and other daily routine sounds. Baby McKeever will become startled if he hears a loud sound.
